Yet another eWAW, and some lesser known WAW options.
WAW375 was delivered to Erwin.
Fietser.be velomobile motor (torque sensing), Rohloff, air suspension of course. 100km daily commute.
A good opportunity to showcase some lesser known options:
1) the large gps-mount, folding away behind the dashboard for discretion and easy entry and exit. Room for all kinds of gadgets: smartphone, gps, heart rate and cadence, battery and e-assist monitoring, make-up mirror, tablet...

Just WAW.
I realized I have been posting a lot of 'specials' lately, forgetting that our main activity of delivering a velomobile almost every week is quite special in itself. So here are some pics of WAWs picked up at our shop in the last weeks.

Just another day at Fietser.be
Recording a TV show "Buurtpolitie" today, involving a robber rabbit on a trike, and me getting caught on the speed radar at 61 km/h in a residential street.
I'm sure now I'm better at pushing than acting.

Urban and long distance commuting.
An Airnimal Rhino, custom built up with our favourite Bafang motor and Rohloff geared hub....
We milled out the bottle battery to fit in behind the head tube.
Good road tires made a big difference at 35 km/h.
It's a small bike but I did some test riding. It gets closer to the definition of light urban mobility: electric (and fast!), enormous suspension on top of room for good balloon tires, and still light and nimble to ride and fold. Looks cool too IMHO.

The orange WAW219 in the background has the same transmission setup (Bafang + Rohloff), but for exactly the opposite use: long distance, year round ecommuting (80 km roundtrip).
